At Alpha-Tec Systems we realize that sometimes innovation can be challenging. With our AFB specimen preparation reagents we have created real improvements in the diagnosis of mycobacteria by optimizing the pre-analytical process. While all of our reagents are simple, direct replacements for the more conventional reagents already used, new names and appearances can be cause for concern for those that have never used them.
To ease the transition from conventional technology to Alpha-Tec Systems specimen preparation reagents we are introducing an informational video which illustrates the recommended specimen preparation protocol. This video breaks down the process step-by-step and can be used as an initial training tool, or as clarification for questions that arise in the laboratory. As part of our commitment to quality products and excellent service, we hope this video acts as a practical supplement to our complete system of AFB detection diagnostics.
