Alpha Tec is focused on the creation of innovative pre-analytical products that improve diagnostic accuracy and effectiveness, and we pride ourselves on offering technology that creates tangible improvements in the clinical laboratory. Most laboratories are familiar with Alpha Tec Systems’ Mycobacteriology and Parasitology systems. In addition to our clinical microbiology reagent systems Alpha Tec also offers many of the laboratory plastics necessary for testing. Like our reagent technology, Alpha Tec’s centrifuge tubes offer quality and features unavailable in the majority of competitive products. Our centrifuge tubes are tested to a force of 9,400 x gravity compared to the industry standard 6,000; they are available packaged in recyclable or reusable chipboard trays rather than the Styrofoam trays used by most competitors, and we offer these tubes at a price far below what many laboratories currently pay.
