Conical centrifuge tubes are ubiquitous in the microbiology laboratory, and while they are often overlooked, using low quality tubes can hinder any number of diagnostic procedures. Alpha-Tec Systems offers the tubes made of high clarity polypropylene with easy to read, highly accurate graduations. These tubes have exceptional chemical resistance and can withstand centrifugation at speeds up to 9,400 x gravity. Alpha-Tec Systems centrifuge tubes are autoclavable to temperatures up to 120°C and can be stored at temperatures as low as -80°C.
We offer both 15ml and 50ml conical centrifuge tubes in either non-sterile bulk configuration or in gamma radiation sterilized trays. Unlike the Styrofoam trays offered by most companies, Alpha-Tec Systems supplies our tubes in environmentally friendly re-useable or recyclable chipboard trays.
